Indoor & Stage

Proximate pyrotechnics are special effect devices specifically designed to have little or no fallout because they are designed to perform within a defined set of parameters, (maximum heights, spreads, etc.) Pyro Productions uses these devices in arenas, and other venues where typical fireworks are not an option due to limited space or the close proximity of the audience.

AIRBURST:
An aerial break of silver or gold sparks, sometimes colored, Simulating outdoor fireworks.

GERBS:
Also know as fountains. Produce a plume of silver or golden sparks.

MINES:
A colorful spray of rising colored sparks beginning at ground level and traveling skyward.

FLAME PROJECTORS:
Brilliant pillars of flame rising from the ground up.

COMETS:
A single bright rising star, usually silver or colored.

FLASHPOTS:
A bright flash, a puff of smoke or a small report.

WATERFALLS:
Beautiful cascading curtains of silver or golden sparks.

LINE-ROCKETS:
A silver or colored rocket that flies through the air attached to a cable.

FIREBALLS / MORTAR HITS:
A rolling orange mushroom shaped ball of fire.

CONCUSSIONS:
A very loud, sharp report.

WHISTLES:
A loud screaming whistle.

Rooftop & Outdoors

Commonly used at concerts and sporting events, close-proximity pyrotechnics are designed to be safely fired near the audience. They create stunning effects with little to no debris, making them ideal for rooftops or locations without enough space for a traditional fireworks show.

Pyro Productions has a wide range of experience with “non-traditional” or high logistical shows such as these.

*Rooftop shows require more planning and permits than other shows and generally require one or more site visits by one of our professionals to evaluate the possibilities.
